Begin With a Conversation
Whatever brought you here, you do not have to have it figured out to begin. Tell me a little about yourself and I will take you straight to my calendar to find a time for a free consultation.
Request a Free ConsultationI am Annie Harton Kassell, a licensed marriage and family therapist with over a decade in practice, a clinical degree and a graduate degree in theology. My heart, and the center of my work, is with women, especially the one who has poured herself into every role and gone quiet somewhere in the giving. Whoever you are, one conviction holds: you are more than the hardest season you are in. My work is faith-integrated, which means your beliefs are welcome here but never required, and I see clients in person in Indianapolis and by secure telehealth across nine states.
If the distance between you has been growing quietly, you do not have to wait until it becomes a crisis. Using proven methods like the Gottman Method and EFT, I help couples rebuild trust, hear each other again, and remember why they chose one another. Faith can be part of that work, or not. That is yours to decide.
Anxiety, grief, a transition that knocked you sideways, the quiet sense that you have lost track of who you are. We can sit with any of it together. You do not need the right words or a tidy explanation to begin.
You have been the one everyone leans on, and somewhere in all that giving you went quiet. This is for the woman who is ready to want herself back, without guilt and without apology. You are allowed to be a whole person, not only what you do for everyone else.
Before the wedding, there is a marriage worth preparing for. Using SYMBIS and PREPARE/ENRICH, we look honestly at the things most couples never talk about until they are already a problem. If faith is part of your foundation, we build on it.
Some seasons cannot wait for one hour a week. An intensive gives you focused, dedicated time together, months of couples work in a concentrated stretch, so you can stop circling the same fight and start moving forward.
When the patterns in a family harden, everyone feels it, and no one quite knows how to name it. I work with parents, teens, and families to understand what keeps repeating and to find a steadier way to be together.
You should not have to leave your faith in the waiting room. If you want it, prayer and Scripture can be part of our work. If you do not, the care is no less whole. Your beliefs are part of who you are, and they are welcome in the room.
If you are planning a retreat, parish event, or conference, I would be glad to speak. I talk honestly about identity, faith, and relationships, the same things I sit with in the therapy room, in language a room full of people can carry home.
Wherever you are, we can meet. Care is available in person in Indianapolis and by secure telehealth across California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, New Jersey, Ohio, and South Carolina.
A few quick details, and I will take you straight to my calendar. There is no cost and no obligation.
